To get started with listening to free audiobooks hier, try these websites. Open Culture is a great source for free audiobooks, as they compile lists of free titles from all over the internet. Once you sign up for the free audiobook list at Open Culture, you will be taken to another site where you can choose from more than 1,000 titles. Open Culture has both human-read and computer-generated audiobooks that you can listen to on your computer or mobile device. There are also tutorials on downloading the audiobooks from other sites. The project also offers a variety of free books for kids and college courses, which you can complete from the comfort of your own home.

Another great resource for finding free audiobooks is the Internet Archive. This nonprofit organization catalogs millions of web media, most notably the Wayback Machine, which allows users to see websites as they were decades ago. While the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine can help you discover old websites, they also feature tens of thousands of free audiobooks. LibriVox also has an archive of audiobooks, and you can download them in MP3 format to listen to on your player.

Another great resource for free audiobooks is LibriVox, a website where volunteers worldwide record public domain books. You can download audiobooks to your computer, or download an Android or iOS app. The app has an average rating of 4.8. Once you've downloaded the app, browse the audiobook catalog, which is all free and public domain. You can even browse by genre and language to find a book you want to listen to.
