Trailing stop issuing and execution
-
From the documentation here I can understand that trailing stop is calculated from the close price.
My question is, when a trade is entered the first time on a day, does the trailing stop get calculated from that orders execution price which is that days open price or it waits for that days closing price to calculate where the trailing stop will be placed and then the StopTrail order is issued?
