      How do I write code to identify the 8:30 am - 9:30 am time period of each day for use in trading (i.e. that would be my support or resistance level off which to trade)?

        Based on the bt manual Docs - DateTime Management can be something like this:

        def next(self):
            if (self.data.datetime.time() >= datetime.time(8, 30) and
                self.data.datetime.time() <= datetime.time(9, 30)):
                    # do some staff
